RESUMEN

La presente propuesta de investigación tiene como objetivo examinar la relación entre la formación
para el trabajo y las inequidades educativas en México. El sistema educativo mexicano enfrenta
desafíos significativos en términos de acceso, calidad y equidad, lo cual tiene repercusiones directas
en la preparación de los estudiantes para el mercado laboral. Este estudio empleará un enfoque
mixto, combinando métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos mediante encuestas y entrevistas a
estudiantes, profesores y expertos en educación, así como un análisis documental de políticas y
programas educativos actuales. Se espera identificar las principales barreras y desigualdades que
enfrentan los jóvenes en su transición de la educación al empleo y recopilar datos que proporcionen
una visión detallada de las políticas y programas existentes para abordar estas inequidades. Los
hallazgos serán discutidos en el contexto de las políticas educativas mexicanas, evaluando su
efectividad y proponiendo recomendaciones para mejorar la equidad y la calidad en la formación
para el trabajo, con el fin de considerar las implicaciones para futuros desarrollos en la educación
y el mercado laboral en México.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research proposal is to examine the relationship between training for work and
educational inequities in Mexico. The Mexican education system faces significant challenges in terms
of access, quality, and equity, which have direct repercussions on the preparation of students for the
labor market. This study will employ a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods
through surveys and interviews with students, teachers and education experts, as well as a desk analysis
of current education policies and programmes. It is expected to identify the main barriers and
inequalities that young people face in their transition from education to employment and collect data
that provides a detailed view of existing policies and programs to address these inequities. The findings
will be discussed in the context of Mexican education policies, evaluating their effectiveness and
proposing recommendations to improve equity and quality in training for work, in order to consider the
implications for future developments in education and the labor market in Mexico.
